About 180F Cafe
Located at 650 W Broad St, Athens, GA 30601, 180F Cafe operates as a taiwanese restaurant serving Athens in Georgia. This page gathers the practical details people usually look for before visiting: where it is, how to reach it, when it opens and how customers rate it. Besides its main category, the business also describes itself as bubble tea store, so it may cover more than the name suggests.
In cities with a Chinatown, weekend mornings bring dim sum carts or order sheets, and lines form early at the most popular spots in Athens; walk-ins are standard and reservations are uncommon outside large banquet restaurants. Regional labels matter: Cantonese, Sichuan, Hunan, Shanghainese and Taiwanese kitchens cook very differently, so a restaurant's stated region is a better guide to the food than the word "Chinese" alone. Some smaller restaurants in Georgia are BYOB with no corkage fee; call ahead to confirm. A tip of 15-20% is customary for table service but not expected at counter-order takeout. Spice level, MSG and allergen questions are normal to ask before ordering, and most kitchens are happy to leave an ingredient out or tone down the heat if you mention it when ordering rather than after the food arrives.
No hours are on file. If you plan a visit, phone first or check the Google Maps link on this page for the latest times. Athens is in Georgia, in the Southeast, where summers are long, hot and humid, winters are mild, and afternoon thunderstorms and the hurricane season from June to November can change plans at short notice. Getting around Athens is easiest by car; street parking is metered in busy downtown areas, and most suburban businesses have their own lot. Ride-share apps such as Uber and Lyft operate across Georgia's larger cities, and public transit varies from extensive to minimal.

I can only speak for the taro coconut bubble tea with lychee jellies, but I can say it was delicious. Parking absolutely sucks. There are maybe 5 or so parking spots here right off of Broad. There arenβt very many tables inside either. The cashier was super friendly. Iβm only giving 4 stars because itβs not easy to get to or park at.

Having never tried Taiwanese food I figured Iβd give it a go. I must say, the hot milk tea with longan honey was very good. I discovered this is a tea place after all. I went with the sliced braised pork bento box. I should have asked a couple more questions. Itβs a braised marinated pork belly. Iβm not a big fan of pork belly. But the two sides were good. One was a basic cabbage and carrots and the other was similar to a Korean side with sliced ginger and carrots in a vinegar marinade. The rice was cooked well too. Again, I was a little disappointed with the pork, but that was really more my bad choice not the cook. It also included a brown colored hard boiled egg. It tasted pretty good. Kinda like egg and lite soy sauce. I definitely want to come back and try a different dish.

The bubble tea decent and given the limited options in Athens, you don't have much room to complain. Depending on who's working, you may either get a detailed and helpful layout of how ordering works or a short tempered, haste explanation. You can pick either powder or syrup, and the type of tea you want (they suggest Golden for a typical sweet milk tea flavor). Good selection of food and drinks.

The bubble tea is reasonably priced and pretty good. I've had better and I've had much worse. The employees are helpful and nice. The location is not ideal and parking is a little tricky, but don't be scared away! Good for a 10pm I really want bubble tea run.

Delicious Asian food for a good price. The bubble tea was super sweet but we love their smoothies. Only down side is I didn't see anything that would be vegetarian friendly on the menu. Pokemon wise, within range of a stop but not very many spawns.
